1. Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro White
Specification
- Type: DDR4
- Capacity: 16GB kit (2 x 8GB)
- Speed: 3200MHz
- Extended Timings: 16-18-18-36
- Voltage: 1.35V
- Lighting: RGB
- Warranty: Limited lifetime warranty
REASONS TO BUY
- Fantastic speeds
- Clean white aesthetics
- Fair price
- Supports Intel XMP 2.0
- Bright RGB lighting
REASONS TO AVOID
- Potential clearance issues
To get started, we have the best options overall: Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro White. This memory offers great speed, pure white aesthetics with great RGB light bars, and most importantly, the reliability of Corsair memory.
This particular model comes in a 16GB dual channel (2x8GB) bundle and is reasonably priced.
In terms of performance, it is designed with 18 to safely overclock to 3600 MHz and further overclock to satisfy more demanding users. You can overclock the 4000MHz range without much trouble.
However, even at low speeds, most users are more than satisfied.
If you look at these sticks in the case, you’ll notice a clean white aluminum heat shield design that blends seamlessly into the RGB light bar at the top. The light bar is equipped with 10 individually addressable ultra-bright LEDs. You can use Corsair’s iCue software to program them with custom pre-made colors and patterns.
The great thing about this software is that it can sync all Corsairi Cue products such as keyboards, fans and coolers. When tinkering with RGB lighting, it makes sense to control the entire rig universally at that level. If it’s the only Corsair product, RAM works well with other RGB lighting software.
Like the latest memory modules, Vengeance RGB Pro supports Intel XMP 2.0 and works with both Intel and AMD DDR4 boards. It also comes with a limited lifetime warranty for peace of mind.
This is one of our favorite white RAMs, but it has significant drawbacks for some users. If you have a bulky air conditioner, we recommend measuring the gap before purchasing Vengeance RGB Pro. These are relatively prominent RAM modules that are just over 2 inches in size and can cause problems with some builds.
However, there is no problem with the water-cooled type. If you have experience with RGB RAM, the potential gap issue may be something you are used to.
Overall, the Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro is arguably the best white RAM currently available on the market. The combination of price, performance, vibrant RGB lighting, and clean white aesthetics will at least not disappoint if you decide to choose it.
2. Corsair Dominator Platinum RGB White
Specification
- Type: DDR4
- Capacity: 32GB Kit (4 x 8GB)
- Speed: 3200MHz
- Extended Timings: 16-18-18-36
- Voltage: 1.35V
- Lighting: RGB
- Warranty: Limited lifetime warranty
REASONS TO BUY
- High performing memory
- Perfect for overclocking
- Pleasant all-white design
- Bright RGB lighting
- Lifetime warranty
REASONS TO AVOID
- Premium price
The second option is the Corsair Dominator Platinum RGB White 32GB Kit (4x8GB). This memory has a fast and unique RGB lighting design. For good reason, I labeled it “best memory performance”.
When it comes to performance, you can safely expect speeds up to 3600MHz with this memory and clock rate 18. To improve things, the Dominator is also equipped with what Corsair calls the “DHX cooling system.”
This simply means that the heat spreader is fully integrated into the PCB, ensuring excellent heat transfer from key components. This is the equivalent of cool RAM that works well even in overclocked conditions. Simply put, you can expect high performance for years to come.
When it comes to RGB lighting, Dominator Platinum uses a unique lighting design. There are 10 RGB squares at the top of the RAM and an RGB dominator logo in the center (as far as we know, illuminated by 2 LEDs). The sides of the light bar also feature a unique backlit design, as there is no better terminology. Finally, a pure white aluminum heat spreader surrounds the LEDs to create a smooth, relatively seamless design.
Similar to the Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro, the Corsair iCUE software synchronizes 12 individually addressable RGB LEDs with other Corsairi Cue products.
The Corsair Dominator Platinum offers excellent performance and RGB lighting, but it’s also the most expensive RAM on the list. You can now expect to pay twice as much per gigabyte as the other options on this list.
Whether the price is worth it may be a matter of personal taste. The Dominator Platinum series has a high reputation and reliability, but there are certainly other quality options when price matters.
I liked the look of the heatsink, but I wasn’t a big fan of RGB design. The custom square RGB lighting on the top panel doesn’t match the typical look of an RGB light bar, but it’s clearly a matter of personal taste. It has a 5-star rating of about 2000 on Amazon and may be a minority when it comes to design.
Overall, the Corsair Dominator Platinum RGB is one of the fastest and most reliable white RAMs on the market. Due to the integrated heatsink and high speed, it is considered a powerful engine. RGB lighting design wasn’t our favorite, but it’s unique and helps to make white-themed PC builds stand out from the crowd.
3. TEAMGROUP T-Force Delta RGB White
Specification
- Type: DDR4
- Capacity: 16GB Kit (2 x 8GB)
- Speed: 3600MHz
- Extended Timings: 18-22-22-42
- Voltage: 1.35V
- Lighting: RGB
- Warranty: lifetime warranty
REASONS TO BUY
- Bright RGB lighting
- Affordable
- Clean white aesthetics
- Supports Intel XMP 2.0
- Great performance
- Lifetime warranty
REASONS TO AVOID
- Potential clearance issues
The third option is TEAM GROUP’s T-Force Delta RGB White. With incredible overclocking speeds, classic heatsinks and light bars, this product is perfect for anyone who wants to upgrade their PC in white and at a reasonable price.
Like the Corsair Dominator, the T-Force Delta RGB supports 3600MHz overclocking and has a CAS latency of 18, but by default it is set to 2666MHz. It supports XMP 2.0 one-click overclocking technology and is offered in a dual channel 16GB (2x8GB) configuration.
The RGB backlight is a full-frame 120 degree ultra-wide-angle light bar that, when installed, covers the entire visible portion of the joystick. RGB LEDs are fully compatible with all major RGB lighting software such as ASUS Aura Sync and MSI Mystic Light Sync.
Depending on your taste, the LEDs in this RAM are so bright that you may not like them. If you’re looking for a calm or subtle lighting option, it’s a good idea to look elsewhere. There is no risk of missing these RGB LEDs when mounted on the motherboard.
The white aluminum alloy heat spreader keeps the RAM cool while maintaining a stylish and sophisticated look. In addition, the T-Force logo with Delta R on the top of the heatsink stands out in the center. It’s certainly a minimalist design, but it has the classic look of modern RGB memory. Finally, the RAM size is 2 inches (49mm), so keep this in mind if you are using a large air conditioner.
At a reasonable price, this is definitely an affordable option for anyone who wants vibrant RGB lighting integrated into a classic and minimalist heatsink design. Combined with a clean white look, excellent performance and a lifetime warranty, the T-Force Delta is the perfect option for any white style installation.
4. G.Skill Trident Z Royal Silver
Specification
- Type: DDR4
- Capacity: 32GB Kit (2 x 16GB)
- Speed: 3200MHz
- Extended Timings: 16-18-18-38
- Voltage: 1.35V
- Lighting: RGB
- Warranty: Limited lifetime warranty
REASONS TO BUY
- Unique, premium design
- Excellent performance
- Quality and reliable
- High overclocking capabilities
- Lifetime warranty
REASONS TO AVOID
- Higher price
- Not exactly a white RAM
The following list is the uniquely designed G.Skill Trident Z Royal Silver RAM. Trident Z certainly makes up a significant percentage of fans and haters, but it’s nice to see a unique RAM design in the ocean of similar RGB memory.
A heat spreader with silver (or gold) slots and a crystal RGB panel should be the highlights of your next build. For this reason, G. Skill Trident Z Royal Silver has earned the title of Best Premium Option for White Gear.
Aesthetics aside, Trident Z is certainly not leaning forward. If the nominal frequency is 3200MHz and CL16, you can expect to meet the requirements. Keep this in mind when creating your requirements, as it comes in a 32GB dual channel kit (2x16GB).
As mentioned earlier, the Trident Z has an RGB crystal strip and eight customizable RGB LEDs. G. Skill designed RGB to work with Trident Z Royal Lighting Software, but it works fine with other RGB lighting software available.
One thing to admit is that Trident Z does not have a white heat diffuser. Instead, we only offer silver or gold options. However, the mirrored silver (actually aluminum) heat spreader works well with the white build and is well worth the list. The gold color options work as well, depending on the aesthetic you are looking for.
Unfortunately, the Trident Z Royal is a bit more expensive than the other options, but its unique design may be worth it. It’s certainly cheaper than the Corsair Dominator Platinum, but it’s still well above the price many gamers are willing to spend on RAM kits.
Overall, G. Skill Trident Z Royal Silver is one of the most unique components we’ve ever seen and will definitely take your build to the next level. But at such a high price, we can only recommend it if aesthetics is a priority for you or if you can buy it at a discounted price.
5. Crucial Ballistix White
Specification
- Type: DDR4
- Capacity: 16GB Kit (2 x 8GB)
- Speed: 3200MHz
- Extended Timings: 16-18-18-36
- Voltage: 1.35V
- Lighting: None
- Warranty: lifetime warranty
REASONS TO BUY
- Budget-friendly
- Great performance
- Lifetime warranty
- Clean white aesthetics
- Low cost per GB
REASONS TO AVOID
- Basic design
- No RGB lighting
Crucial is a well-known name in the world of memory and storage systems, as is the Ballistix DRAM series. With years of dedication and improvement, you can trust quality.
Also, at this frequency, you can expect to pay much less for this RAM than for any other RAM. Ballistix may not be flashy, but it’s perfect for gamers on a tight budget. The cost per gig is significantly lower than the other sets on this list and certainly deserves the “Best Budget” label.
When it comes to performance, Crucial Ballistix operates in the speed range of 2666MHz to 4400MHz. When using Crucial Ballistix, we recommend using the 3200MHz model. This is because higher frequency prices may not be worth it if you are concerned about the beauty of the white case.
With CL16 and a maximum speed of 3200MHz, you can meet all requirements except the most stringent.
One of the main drawbacks of this Crucial Ballistix model is the lack of built-in RGB lighting. This may not be an issue, depending on your personal taste, but it’s worth noting if RGB is becoming an industry standard.
If your build requires RGB, you can get either the Crucial Ballistix RGB model (which costs a bit more) or the VisionTek OCPC X3TREME Aura RGB RAM (# 10 on this list). Both options are a bit more expensive than the base Crucial Ballistix.
Even without the RGB spreader, the heat spreader is pure white and has a simple industrial design like Corsair’s Vengeance LPX RAM. It may not win an aesthetic design award, but it certainly won’t hurt the rest of your white build.
After all, the Crucial Ballistix series is a robust and reliable RAM at a reasonable price. If you don’t like RGB lighting and want to save money, but still want to get high performance white RAM, we highly recommend choosing it for your setup.
6. Corsair Vengeance LPX White
Specification
- Type: DDR4
- Capacity: 16GB kit (2 x 8GB)
- Speed: 3200MHz
- Extended Timings: 15-17-17-35
- Voltage: 1.35V
- Lighting: None
- Warranty: Limited lifetime warranty
REASONS TO BUY
- Quality proven by time
- Excellent performance
- Fairly priced
- Low profile design
- Supports Intel XMP 2.0
- Lifetime warranty
REASONS TO AVOID
- No RGB lighting
- Basic design
If you still don’t know, we are a big fan of Corsair memory. The following Corsair picks may not have the Dominator Platinum or Vengeance RGB Pro flash and speed, but not all.
Long regarded as the standard for DDR4 memory, Corsair’s Vengeance LPX series is one of the most reliable and popular on the market. The design of the white heat spreader may be minimal at best, but it works quietly and has little chance of failure.
This Vengeance LPX model is designed to be overclocked to 3200 MHz with a CL rating of 16, but some users were able to exceed this threshold. Corsair also offers high speed RAM such as 3600 and 4000MHz, which is also an acceptable speed for most users.
Given that this RAM has been on the market for several years, it is compatible with most DDR4 motherboards available and can be expected to support XMP 2.0 without any issues.
The thin white aluminum heatsink (only 34mm) makes it easy to install this memory without hitting the heatsink or other case accessories. The heat sink is a minimalist style with a sturdy industrial design.
Unfortunately, it doesn’t have RGB lighting like the Crucial Ballistix on the list. This RAM is useful if you are not interested in RGB lighting, or if performance and cost are more important than lighting. This is one of the few options with high quality heatsinks other than RGB, as the PC gaming industry has fully implemented RGB lighting in almost every component.
That said, it’s currently more expensive than some of the RGB RAM on the list. However, due to its solid performance and long-standing standards in the gaming community, it takes precedence over these other options. In our book, reliability is more important than bright light.
7. PNY XLR8 Gaming Epic-X RGB White Edition
Specification
- Type: DDR4
- Capacity: 32GB Kit (2 x 16GB)
- Speed: 3200MHz
- Extended Timings: 16-18-18-38
- Voltage: 1.35V
- Lighting: RGB
- Warranty: lifetime warranty
REASONS TO BUY
- Affordable
- Great performance
- Supports Intel XMP 2.0
- Lifetime warranty
- Great RGB lighting
REASONS TO AVOID
- Compatibility issues with the MSI Mystic Light
- Plain design
If you’re looking for a reasonably priced 32GB dual channel RAM option, the PNY XLR8 Gaming Epic-X RGB White Edition is for you. Much cheaper than its peers, PNY offers a very affordable option. This is tied to the next choice of the most affordable RGB memory.
This RAM is overclocked to 3200MHz and has a CAS latency of 16. With a large white heatsink, you can expect to stay cool when overclocked hard. This RAM can be overclocked up to 3200MHz with proper configuration. It uses XMP 2.0 overclocking and is backward compatible with other RAM up to 2133MHz.
The XLR8’s prominent RGB light bar is fully compatible with all major RGB lighting software. We found some compatibility issues with MSI Mystic Light, but they weren’t permanent and we couldn’t determine if it was just an accident. If you are using an MSI board, be prepared to use other lighting software as needed.
The RGB colors changed relatively well, but the design of the light bar and heat spreader turned out to be very simple. This may sound appealing to you, but we felt that PNY could put more effort into the design. If RGB lighting and aesthetics are the main features of your build, we recommend the other options in this list.
Overall, the PNY XLR8 Gaming Epic-X RGB White Edition is a decent option. Works well with moderate overclocking and is an affordable option for RGB White RAM in 2022. Recommended for those on a budget who still need the bright light and reliability of a well-known brand like PNY.
8. OLOy Warhawk Aura Sync RGB
Specification
- Type: DDR4
- Capacity: 32GB Kit (2 x 16GB)
- Speed: 3600MHz
- Extended Timings: 16-19-19-38
- Voltage: 1.35V
- Lighting: RGB
- Warranty: Limited lifetime warranty
REASONS TO BUY
- Great performance
- Vibrant RGB lighting
- Fairly low price per GB
- Lifetime warranty
- Attractive aesthetics
REASONS TO AVOID
- Still new to the market
- Potential clearance issues
Another unique design, the OLOy Warhawk Aura Sync RGB, features a large wing-like heat spreader with RGB lighting built into the sides and top of the protruding “wings”.
It may not be what many gamers are looking for, but this RAM is certainly designed with class and elegance in mind. From special padded boxes to white heat spreader gold / bronze and chrome inserts, it looks just like performance.
In this regard, Warhawk Aura Sync RGB is not only a great looking design, but also a very good performance. With a nominal overclock of 3600MHz and a CAS latency of 18, you can expect to overclock fairly hard.
When using Warhawk RAM, pay attention to the vertical space occupied by the stick. The wings are much higher than most other heat spreaders. If you have a large and bulky air-cooled heatsink next to your RAM, it’s a good idea to check out the other options in this list or measure the gap first.
If this RAM is ready, we recommend that you consider the water cooling option instead. Of course, mileage depends on the motherboard and cooler design.
Warhawk RGB lighting is well integrated into the heat spreader, with separate sections on the sides and a full light bar at the top of the board. In addition, this RAM is designed to work with all the major lighting software on the market, so you can safely buy it for the latest DDR4 motherboards.
Another feature of this memory is that it is reasonably priced because it is priced at the same price as the non-RGB options on the list. The price per gigabyte is impressive considering that 64GB (2x32GB) of RAM still costs a lot.
With our enthusiastic reviews, you may be wondering why Warhawk is far below our list. This is because OLOy is still relatively new to the memory market and has only been selling memory for a few years.
At this point, there are few complaints about OLOy products, but we have no idea how good the long-term reliability and its lifetime warranty are. I think their RAM is worth it, but I also understand that it’s worth buying brands like Corsair and Crucial that have been on the market for decades.
9. Patriot Viper Gaming RGB Series White
Specification
- Type: DDR4
- Capacity: 16GB kit (2 x 8GB)
- Speed: 3200MHz
- Extended Timings: 16-18-18-36
- Voltage: 1.35V
- Lighting: RGB
- Warranty: Limited lifetime warranty
REASONS TO BUY
- Great performance
- Low profile
- Perfect for bulky air coolers
- Supports Intel XMP 2.0
- Vibrant RGB lighting
- Lifetime warranty
REASONS TO AVOID
- Slightly overpriced
The penultimate choice is the white Patriot Viper Gaming RGB series RAM. This RAM has a unique Viper logo with RGB LED strips on the top and sides. To keep things simple, it has a lower profile than many other options on this list and may be a good option if you need RGB lighting with a large air-cooled heatsink.
Operating at 3200MHz with CAS16 latency, Patriot Viper matches time and speed just like any other option. It supports XMP 2.0 overclocking and has a fundamental frequency of 2133MHz. Fully tested on the latest Intel and AMD motherboards, you can expect easy compatibility. The white version is available in a 16 GB dual channel kit (2×8 GB).
Like the PNY XLR8, we weren’t a big fan of RGB lighting design, but from the reviews, there is clearly a market for many users. Patriot uses five RGB zones that can be configured using Viper software or most major RGB lighting software. The RGB LEDs are definitely bright and easy to see in your case.
Patriot Viper RAM felt a bit too expensive due to its design and specifications. The 16GB kit retreats you much like our number one pick, and it seems a bit steep for the speed you can expect. However, the convenience of installing RGB RAM next to the air conditioner may be worth the price.
Like all options, this is still robust RAM and may meet your needs even if it is not at higher risk of failure than other major memory manufacturers. Convenient air cooling and bright RGB lighting make it ideal for people with limited space and is very good for White-Themed Builds.
10. VisionTek OCPC X3TREME Aura RGB White
Specification
- Type: DDR4
- Capacity: 16GB kit (2 x 8GB)
- Speed: 3000MHz
- CAS Latency: 19
- Voltage: 1.40V
- Lighting: RGB
- Warranty: Limited lifetime warranty
REASONS TO BUY
- Great price per GB
- Smooth RGB lighting
- Solid performance
- Lifetime warranty
- Supports Intel XMP 2.0
REASONS TO AVOID
- Slowest on the list
The last choice was VisionTek OCPC X3TREME Aura RGB RAM. With 3000MHz overclocking and CAS19 latency guaranteed, this is the slowest RAM on the list, but it seems to work for most gamers and PC enthusiasts.
Aura X3TREME is a 16GB (2x8GB) dual channel kit offered at a reasonable price. At the time of this writing, the price per gigabyte is exactly the same as the PNY XLR8 RAM. It’s clear that this RGB memory is gaining in popularity at such an affordable price.
What I like about X3TREME Aura RGB lighting is the very smooth transition between different patterns of colors. Not all RGB brands transition seamlessly between color shifts, but not here.
RGB LEDs worked better with this RAM than the much more expensive ones. The design of the LED panel on the top is relatively simple, but by trying to integrate the lighting with a white aluminum heatsink, it provides a relatively clean look.
OCPC X3TREME Aura RGB is highly regarded online and you can see why. Very affordable and excellent RGB memory. Our biggest complaint about it is the maximum clock speed, but as mentioned above, they are still quite high for the average gamer. With lifetime warranty and support, you can buy this RAM knowing that you won’t be left behind in the cold in the event of a problem.
Conclusion
If you are looking for the best white RAM in 2022, we hope this list will help you to point in the right direction. This list is certainly not exhaustive, but I believe these are some of the best options available for white RAM.
After all, it’s important that RAM is reliable, meets performance needs, and looks good in the case. Each option may have its strengths and weaknesses, but they are all solid options and you will probably be happy with one of them.
If you have any questions about RAM, please feel free to contact us. We will support you as much as possible.
